Getting "off book," and a key phrase.
Think about the most memorable scene from a movie. Whether it is Scarlett O'Hara, Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, Stanley Kowalski, Marlon Brando, or whomever, each of these performers began by memorizing words on a piece of paper.
Absorb the benefits to the caller in this key phrase you should share with your team!
Whenever requesting anything of a patient, explain the benefit to the patient.
And when you must place anyone on hold, you can shorten the perceived waiting time -- and buy yourself some time tp prepare for the all-important caller! -- with a professional on hold message system. Your message can be entertaining, show how much you care, and even help the patient forget that he called originally to compare your fees!
